Colleen and Tom’s family relationships are a priority for them. Colleen is the youngest of six. She has a rather large and
close-knit family, which consists of one brother, four sisters, eleven nephews and two nieces. We all live within a half hour of each other and see each other quite often. We have family movie day, play football on Thanksgiving and go to college football games as a family. Colleen's one sister and her family live only about two miles away. We spend a lot of time together including vacations.
Grandchildren on Tom’s Side with Grandma
Tom is the youngest of four; he has two brothers, one sister, three nephews and three nieces. They also all live in the same city and we spend holidays together.
Everyone is very excited about our plans to adopt and can't wait to have a new baby to love and spoil in the family again.
Our House and Neighborhood
There’s No Place Like Home
We live in a three-bedroom, two-story colonial home in a quiet urban neighborhood. We have a large fenced-in back yard which makes a great play area with a big swing set and a baby swing ready to go. The house is just blocks from two large parks.
Easter Family Picture in Our Yard
We plan to send our children to the private grade school in our neighborhood, which has an excellent reputation and is within walking distance of our house. We also have a Golden Retriever named Clancy who loves kids. Our daughter loves playing with her running around the backyard, trying to dress her up or snuggling with her. She will be thrilled to have two kids chasing her around the yard and
loving her.
