Our House and Neighborhood
Home Sweet Home

We live in a suburb of a large metropolitan city in Pennsylvania. Our town is very child oriented. There are several parks and many sports teams for the children to participate in. There is a local swim club that is close by. Our town and the surrounding towns have different parades and community activities and take turns having firework displays all summer long.

We live in an award winning school district. They are known for their academic excellence, great music and art department and winning athletic department. We have a brand new High School and all the schools have the latest technology updates. We are thrilled that our child will have an excellent education and are sure they will be teaching us a lot someday.

Our house is a single with a fenced in back yard . There are three bedrooms. We have a living room, dining room, sun room, and a big kitchen . Our basement is finished , and ready to become a playroom. It's just missing toys all over and chuckles filling the rooms. We can't wait to fill our house with pictures of our child.

There are some children on our street and lots on the streets surrounding us. Our nieces and nephews live very close and spend a lot of time at our house. We love to sit on the front porch and watch them ride their bikes and play games in the front yard. We are so excited to teach our child how to play ball and ride a bike.

Our Extended Families
Sibling Weekend with Bill's Family

Bill is the youngest of four children. His parents live about five minutes away. He has two brothers, Jack and Chris and a sister, Martha. They are all married. He has three teenage nieces. His family is very close and hold many traditions. They have family parties at his parent's house for everyone's birthdays where they have pizza and cake. Every fall all of the siblings and their families go away together for the weekend, called "Sibling Weekend." It is so much fun, and we can't wait to share it with our child, too!

Kim with Her Brothers and Sisters

Kim is the second oldest of five children. She has two brothers, Ray and Pat, and two sisters, Colleen and Erin. She has three nieces and two nephews ranging in ages from five months to twelve years old. Kim's family is extremely close. Everyone lives within ten minutes from each other, which makes it easy to spend lots of quality time together. We go to each other's houses for dinner, "Family Night," and have a lot of fun. We spend summer days at the swim club talking and watching the children play.

Both of our families are thrilled with our adoption plans. They're supportive and can't wait to spoil another little one!
