Gary and his younger sister Michelle grew up in a very loving household. His Dad worked for the Federal Government and his mom stayed at home and raised the children. Gary fondly remembers nightly dinners, during which everyone shared what happened that day and chatted about things to come. They also took annual road trips for two weeks every summer. During this time, they would visit relatives and explore places they had never been. Gary's parents taught him that family is the most important part of your life and Gary lives by this philosophy and teaches it to his children.
Amy’s Mom and Sister
Amy is the youngest of three children by ten and eleven years. Her Dad was a car dealer and her Mom stayed at home with kids. Amy's older brother Jeff lives about an hour away with his wife and children. Amy's older sister Pam lives very close to our house and she enjoys being a stay at home mom and taking care of her two boys. Amy's family is a very close family that is rich with tradition. Still, we all get together several times a year for family vacations and every holiday is spent together. Our most memorable vacations have been in California where we all gather to golf, swim, shop and relax!

Our Home
Our home is in a great suburb of a major city in Kansas. It has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a large loft area for the kid's playroom, a recreation room in the basement and a fenced in back yard. The majority of people that live in our subdivision have young children and we all gather outside in the evenings and watch the kids play.
Our Basement Rec Room
The subdivision that we live in has gone to great lengths to make our neighborhood a family oriented environment. We have a large community pool where everyone gathers for cookouts, several lakes where kids can go fishing, walking trails, and playgrounds. The subdivision celebrates all major holidays by having a Fourth of July Bike Parade, Easter Egg Hunts, Sleigh Rides and Halloween Costume Contests. Also, we have a youth soccer and baseball team that the kids in our area play for. We feel very fortunate to live in a community where everyone knows each other and there are so many activities for the kids to do.
The school district that we live in consistently rates among the best public school systems in the country. We are very fortunate to live in this school district and are thrilled that our children will have a chance to learn and thrive in this wonderful environment.
