Kim is the younger of two children with an older brother. Her brother lives approximately 15 minutes away. He is engaged and has 5 children ranging in age from 15 to 2. Kim's dad owns the company she works for and her mother works there also, as well as an aunt, a few uncles, and her brother. Kim's dad has 8 brothers so you can imagine the number of relatives she has. Her family is deep in holiday traditions such as Christmas Eve get-togethers with homemade Italian dishes, desserts and piles of gifts. Kim is very close to her family. They are all extremely happy with our decision to adopt.
With Some of Kim’s Family
Pat is the youngest of four children. He has three older sisters. Pat's dad has 7 brothers and sisters, which again makes for many extended family members. His parents, oldest sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew all live in South Carolina. They visit often and we
vacation down south with them each year. Pat's other two sisters live close by and we get together with them often for dinner or to watch various sports. Pat's parents are awaiting their next grandchild to spoil.
Our House and Neighborhood
Our Home
We live in a ranch home that we built ourselves with the help of our families. Each family member brought their own unique abilities that helped us finish the home quickly. We have three bedrooms and are finishing the basement that would make a great family room.
Finishing the Basement
Our house was built in 2000. We have a little over 6 acres of land which was originally a farm. Our house is over 400 feet off the road and provides us with a lot of privacy and would be perfect for a swing set and sandbox and in the
winter we have some small hills for sled riding. We have two close neighbors and each of them have small children so your child would have playmates close by.
