Christal is the oldest of three girls and grew up in a small town in the Midwest. Her dad is a college professor and her mom is a piano teacher. They have been married over 40 years and are very excited about having a new grandchild. Christal's sister is married and they have four children who are great cousins to play with! Her youngest sister died when she was young and we miss her a lot. Christal comes from a very large extended family and family gatherings for Christmas, weddings or other special occasions are filled with fun, laughter and plenty of good food.
Summer Vacation with Kevin's Family
Kevin is the youngest of three and grew up in New York City. His dad, now retired, was a manager and electrician for the Long Island Railroad, and his mom previously worked in a retirement home. His parents have been married for over 44 years and they too are thrilled about having a new grandchild! Kevin's brother is married and they have 2 children. His sister loves to play with and spoil her nieces and nephew. Every year or so we try to get the whole family together at the beach. One time we spent a week at a beach house in Rhode Island and another time in Montauk, NY.
We are both very close to our families and appreciate being raised with stay at home moms and parents who taught us strong values and supported us in everything we did. Everyone in our family is looking forward to welcoming another child into our family and they are very supportive of our adoption plans.

Home Sweet Home
There's nothing like home and we love our warm and cozy ranch style home. We live in a 3 bedroom home with an open kitchen and family room, dining room, living room and 2 bathrooms. Our large fenced in backyard has tall shade trees, a swing set, sandbox, and covered patio and is perfect for kids playing outside.
Neighborhood Park
Just down the street is a neighborhood park with a playground and large grassy area for flying kites, playing Frisbee or having a game of football. Often there are neighborhood events there such as an Easter egg hunt or Christmas toy drive with Santa. Nearby there is also a great community pool that has waterslides for small children as well as older kids which is wonderful in the summer!
Our home is located in a safe, family oriented neighborhood and is close to shopping malls, restaurants, waterparks, zoos, botanical gardens, hiking trails, sports fields, churches, and everything a city has to offer. We are just hours away from the snow in the winter and the beach in the summer and love to take short vacations to go enjoy them.
