Our Extended Families

Michael’s Extended Family

Michael is the youngest in his family. He has one sister and two brothers. Michael has always been very close with his brothers and sister, Brenda, and sees them as often as possible. Michael's oldest brother, Tracy, is married and has two children. His other brother, Brent, has one child. Michael's parents will celebrate their sixty-year anniversary this year and family is very important to them.

Linda’s Extended Family

Linda is the oldest in her family. She has two brothers, Gary and David. Linda's family lives within an hour of each other. Linda's brother Gary is married and has two children. Linda's parents have been married for over forty-five years, and both of our families spend time together. We really enjoy spending holidays with our extended families.

Everyone is excited about our plans to adopt a child again, and we all look forward to having a new baby in the family.

Our House and Neighborhood

Our Home

Our home is located where there is a strong sense of community and family. We live in a three bedroom house on 7/10 of an acre of land in a quiet neighborhood on a cul-de-sac. Our home has two full bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining room, and two-car garage on the main floor. In the walk-out basement, we have one full bath, a family room, and a third garage. We have a large backyard with fruit trees, flower gardens, and swing set. We have a chocolate lab named Louie who loves children and stayed outside in the backyard.

Playset in Our Backyard

Our neighborhood is full of children, and on our street there are three other children who are adopted. Many evenings are spent playing baseball in each other's yards, riding bikes in the driveways, or playing on swing sets together.

Our town has an excellent school system that is fully accredited with the State, and we are building a new high school in the next year. The town has numerous family-oriented activities, such as fairs, carnivals, parades, sporting events, a lake, and many social functions. We think our town is a great place to raise a child.
