We are both very fortunate to have wonderful, loving families who have raised us with strong family values. We are extremely family oriented and have a close relationship with both sides of our family. Most of our immediate family live in the same area so gatherings and celebrations happen frequently. Danny comes from a large family and is the oldest of four siblings. Michelle has an older sister, who has married and is blessed with two young daughters. We love spending time and having our nieces over to visit. We spend birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions together enjoying lots of food, laughter, and fun. We get together for a lot of barbeques and picnics that are accompanied with activities such as swimming in the pool, playing basketball or volleyball, and roasting marshmallows by a late evening fire. It is not unusual for us to gather together and play games such as Scene It, Pictionary or UNO Attack. We enjoy the old family tradition of gathering for dinner every Sunday at his mother's home and also a new tradition that entails vacationing at a beach house every year with all of his extended family. Everyone is very supportive of our adoption plans and is thrilled to welcome and spoil a new family member.

Our House & Neighborhood
Home Sweet Home
We live in the northern part of Wild, Wonderful West Virginia. Seven years ago, we built our split level entry home that contains three bedrooms, two baths, a large kitchen and family room downstairs. We have a large backyard giving children lots of room to run and play. We have already begun preparing the nursery. Michelle is enjoying the opportunity to create many sewing projects for the baby's room.
Quilt Projects Michelle Has Made
We love the nice quiet country atmosphere and the safe, secure location. We live on a side road that is less traveled but only ten minutes from town and two beautiful state parks. Our home is positioned on 2.5 acres next to Michelle's father and step-mother's home. As you can imagine we visit with them often and it's not unusual for "Papa" to drop by early on Sunday mornings and bring Seth a piece of fruit to eat with his breakfast or sometimes pancakes from McDonald's. We live in a close-knit community where Michelle grew up as a child. Several of her childhood friends with whom she grew up within the neighborhood have continued to build their homes and raise their families in this area as well.
