Mike is the youngest of three children. His oldest brother has one son and lives in Florida with their Mother. Mike's other brother lives in Atlanta and has four beautiful children. Much of Mike's family still resides in Florida where his grandparents originally settled when they emigrated from Greece. Mike's family always enjoyed great times as a family on holidays and weekends. Family get-togethers usually consisted of large outdoor barbeque outings, which contributes to Mike's love of cooking today! When they are in Atlanta visiting Mike's brother/sister-in-law and kids, they enjoy spending time with each child at their various sporting events.

Lori’s mother and father also live in the Atlanta area, very close to Mike's family. Lori's father is a retired engineer who loves spending his time on the internet researching their family tree history. Her mother is a retired housewife who enjoys spending time with her grandkids. Her family was brought up as devout Irish Catholics and that faith still plays a large role in their everyday life. To make family travel even more convenient, Lori's sister also lives in Atlanta! In fact, her sister, parents, and Mike's brother all live very close to each other. Lori has three beautiful nieces who she cherishes her time with. Both Mike and Lori are proud of all their nieces and nephews and they have been there for every step of their lives and development.
Both of our families are very excited about our adoption plans! Coming from large families that talk and stay very close, they can't wait for them to welcome a new addition to the family. All the nieces and nephews are excited to become potential babysitters!

Our Home
We are very fortunate to live in an established and safe residential area in Texas. Our gated community is very small and private but still provides a very rich neighborhood environment. The area has many families with newborn children, making it the perfect place to raise a family. The Neighborhood Association holds several events during the year to promote a friendly and neighborly area. The subdivision also contains a children's playground area, basketball and tennis courts, swimming pool, and community clubhouse.

We are also very happy with the fact that we reside near some very highly rated schools. Also, we are nearby not only the local police station but a fire department station as well. The area is also situated near some outstanding hospitals. Finally, the local homeowners association provides security patrols that drive the streets of our city on a constant basis.
Our house is relatively new at only 6 years old. It is over 3,000 square feet and is equipped with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our growing family. We have taken great joy in planning a baby room in one of the bedrooms and look forward to making even more changes for our newest family member.
