Lora Lee’s Family

Lora Lee’s parents and older sister live in a small town a few hours away. Her father is retired, however used to own and operate a landscaping business. Her father is the oldest of 4 children. Her mother was a beautician, but became a stay at home mom when the children were born. Lora Lee's mother is the youngest of eleven children. Her sister is married and has 2 children, a boy and a girl.

Lora Lee's family has always been very close and has provided her with lots of love, guidance, and support through the years. We get together to visit every couple of months and more frequently during the holidays and for birthdays. In the Fall we go to a large reunion in the park with Lora Lee's aunts, uncles, and cousins from both sides of the family. It is a great time to catch up with Lora Lee's relatives, eat home grown food, and to see the kids playing with their cousins.

Eric’s Family

Eric’s parents and 3 of his 4 siblings live nearby. His father is a retired electrician and his mother was a stay at home mom when Eric was growing up. His mother and father are both the youngest of 4 children. Eric has 2 older brothers and 2 older sisters. One brother is single and the other is married with 2 children, both boys. He also has a single sister and a married sister with 3 children, 2 boys and a baby girl. All of his siblings live within a short driving distance except for his sister that lives in California.

We see Eric's family every couple of weeks for dinners, watching movies on the big screen television, play dates, birthday parties, holidays, etc. Eric's family has strong ties and are always eager to lend each other a helping hand.

Our family and friends are very supportive of our decision to adopt. They are looking forward to sharing endless hugs and kisses with your child.

Our Home

We live in a quiet suburban neighborhood with several area parks, churches, a library, an aquatic center, and a recreation center. We are also located near AAA rated schools as well as several private schools. There is a strong sense of community and family in our neighborhood.

Our home is a spacious ranch nested with tall oaks, maples, and pine trees. The main level has an open floor plan and consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a living room, a dining room, an eat-in kitchen, a hearth room with a gas fireplace, and a family room with french double doors that leads to the deck. The basement has a large family entertainment center with a movie popcorn popper, large play area, hobby room, craft area, home office, bathroom, and three-season patio room. The home is situated on a large, level, grassy lot with a cedar fence. There are flower gardens in the front and side yards and a vegetable garden in the back yard.

Approximately 30 minutes away, we also own 4 acres of property on a wooded ridge, over-looking a pond and rolling hills. The area is located in a gated community with new custom homes. Someday we plan to build our dream home there.
