Our Extended Families

Tom’s Family Tree Chopping

Tom is one of five children. He has one brother and three sisters who have seven children between them. They are a very close family and have only gotten closer since his mother's passing this past year. All of them live within an hour of each other, and see each other frequently. He also sees most of his aunts, uncles and cousins at least once a year.

Dawn’s Family at Disney

Dawn is the oldest of three having one sister and one brother. Her sister is married with two little girls and lives only a few blocks away. Her brother is still searching for "The One." Dawn grew up surrounded by a large family. She has eleven cousins which still get together often since "Jennygram" (her grandmother) lives with her parents only a few miles away.

We are both so fortunate to have such close families. We can rely on each other for support and friendship. Best of all, it allows all the cousins to grow up together. Both families support our plans to adopt again fully, and cannot wait for the happy day!

Our House and Neighborhood

Our Home

We live in a very family oriented town. They sponsor many parades, street fairs, and family activities throughout the year. There are many pre-school programs offered through the town, and the school system also offers many extracurricular activities.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Our town boasts a gorgeous park system with many playgrounds. The park runs completely through town. Our house is located near the town center within walking distance of several of the playgrounds. It is a three bedroom colonial with a nice sized yard that includes a deck and an above ground pool.
