Abby's Immediate Family on Vacation in the Caribbean

A lot of Kevin’s family is local. We see his brother, cousins (and their children), grandparents and aunt about every other week, sometimes for birthday or holiday celebrations and sometimes just for a quick dinner or board game night. Kevin's parents are in the process of moving to our area and are anxious to be the primary babysitters for us. We're excited because they're both very active so we know there will be plenty of running around inside and out. We are looking forward to an upcoming cruise with the entire extended family!

Abby’s from a big Italian clan where family is very important. Her sister is her best friend; hardly a day goes by when they don't speak. As a first grade teacher, she always has excellent ideas for unique things to do with children. Abby's father and mother can't wait to be grandparents and call daily for an update on where we're at with the adoption process. Even though Abby's family lives on the east coast, we see them almost once a month either up north, in Florida or at our family home in the Caribbean.

Home Sweet Home!

We bought this house because it was the perfect location and layout for a growing family! We just expanded our kitchen and installed all new hardwood floors and granite countertops in our four bedroom, three bathroom home on a large, corner lot in Florida. We've been preparing for the arrival of the baby, clearing out a guestroom for the nursery and making sure everything is organized and safe.

Our Outdoor Haven

The area we spend the most time in is our screened-in lanai that has a table for six, sitting area, foosball table, fire place, pool and spa. We eat, swim, watch sunsets, throw the football around and play board games out there all the time. There is a fenced-in grassy area outside the lanai where we plan to put a swing set. On one side of the property is a park and on the other side is a community ski lake. We go boating at least once a week, sometimes more. Many of our closest friends and local family have young children that we play with often. We are so blessed with the quality of people in our community. We are surrounded by truly wonderful people.
