Our Extended Families

Annual Disney Trip at Christmas with Family and Friends

Bill was raised in a small Midwest town in Indiana. He is the youngest of two children. His brother is 8 years older than him and they are very close. His brother and wife have been married for 20 years and they have 4 children and he also has 2 older children from a previous marriage.

Bill's father retired after 42 years of service working for a construction company. His mother, also retired, worked for 25 years for a top name department store. Bill's parents are two of the most giving, loving, sharing, anything you need parents and grandparents. They are greatly respected by all who know and love them. In October of 2008, they will be married for 50 years! What a celebration that will be! Bill's parents, being of Greek decent, have passed down a lot of family traditions throughout the years, from roasting a Lamb on Easter Sunday, to passing down the family recipe for Baklava. One of Bill's fondest memories is having the house where all of the aunts, uncles, and cousins would hang out at for family picnics.

Even though, our families all seem to have pretty hectic and crazy schedules, that doesn't seem to stop us from getting together on the weekends and having a family dinner.

Cheryl’s Extended Family

Cheryl is the baby of four children. She was raised in a Midwest town in Indiana and grew up in a household with 3 older brothers. She has many wonderful memories of growing up and being raised in a small town. Some of her fondest memories are of the big family reunions that they had every year, and their hometown 4th of July parade which would pass right in front of their house. Cheryl's family are lovers of camping. Every year for as long as Cheryl can recall her family camped from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.

Cheryl's Dad is a retired Water Company worker of 40 years. He enjoys spending his time working at the local golf course. Cheryl's Dad is remarried to a great lady of 20 years. They spend part of their time in Indiana and then become snowbirds and migrate to the south of Florida for the winter months.

Cheryl's Mom sadly passed away at the age of 56. Cheryl was 3 months pregnant with Zoe. Even though her Mom didn't get to see the birth of her granddaughter, Cheryl knows that deep in her daughter's heart lives her Mom. She often tells Zoe that she is an "Angel Baby" sent down to her from her Mom in heaven.

Our family and friends are so supportive, excited and enthusiastic about our plans to adopt a child. There is an overabundance of love, support, and affection for all of us to share with a new baby. We can assure you that your child will be showered on a daily basis with hugs and kisses.

Our House and Neighborhood

Our Home

We purchased our home in a small gated, family oriented neighborhood about 3 years ago, in a great city in Florida. There are children of all ages, and families of different cultures.

At the Neighborhood Park

Our home is a "gingerbread" looking house (as our niece puts it), like something out of a fairy tale. It is two-stories, including 4 bedrooms and 3 and a half baths. On the upper level of the house we boast 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, including the laundry room and a sunken bonus room. On the lower level of the house we have the kitchen, which is open to the family room which includes a gas fireplace, a half bath, a formal living room and dining room combination, which makes it great for the holidays and hosting parties, and off of the living room/dining room is the master bedroom and a office. Our home has a fenced in backyard with an outside fireplace, a swing set/playhouse, and a swimming pool for some extra added family fun.

We love our neighborhood and community because it is so diverse. It is close to our daughter's school and our Catholic Church. It has great shopping, movie theatres, bowling alleys, and numerous restaurants to choose from. We live approximately 20 miles away from our local beach which is always a great place to go to fish off of the pier or to just spend the day at the beach jumping waves. Even though our city is big, you still get that small hometown feeling where everybody knows one another.
