Sight-Seeing in Gruyeres (Switzerland) with Mexican Family
Our extended family is actively involved in our decision to adopt. Our parents are ecstatic to have a new grandchild. We have family gatherings as often as possible and maintain a very close relationship. All of our family is very excited to welcome a new baby and to love him/her. We have a very supportive and understanding family. Diversity is huge among us. In our immediate family alone, we speak four different languages. Also we have very festive holidays and lives in general. We are very open to other cultures. Although our large family extends to three different countries, Switzerland, U.S. and Mexico, we constantly visit each other many times during the year. Because of our locations, we open each other up to many customs and traditions.
Celebrating with Swiss Family
We support any road that someone in this family chooses to take. We hold great love and respect for each other. We love to celebrate the little things in life and encourage each other to do and be the best person they can be. We are very festive and optimistic and have been through the hardest of times and grown as a family. Family is first and the most important thing for the both of us. We have had the opportunity to care for our American and Mexican nieces and nephews every summer since they were very young. That has been a wonderful experience for us and reinforced our desire for children.
Most importantly is that our family is united as one, regardless of any circumstances. Markus and Gabriela's family love each other greatly, including those who are not directly related, causing a very large family bond. During festivities there are many children of all ages. At heart, our family is very youthful. Everyone loves to play and have fun, especially Markus, who loves to make jokes. We believe in the necessity for love and happiness in our everyday lives. Each and every one of us values God and life. We love to dance, eat, laugh, cook and hold family values and traditions very near. We are ready to love and accept this new addition into our family.
| Our House and Neighborhood |
Our Home
It is difficult to imagine anywhere else that we could start our family together. Our neighborhood is ideal to interact with other neighbors. We are able to have friendly relationships with them and live peacefully and safely all at the same time. It is hard to get through the day without talking to a neighbor about the current events in their life. But, we are also able to find alone time for ourselves.
Playing with Our Dog
We have a beautiful and private home with a scenic view of both the lake and the mountains. Our neighborhood is very safe and united. We live in a quiet village which has many cultural, medical and educational facilities. We have a wonderful park with the most beautiful lake where Marcus Emilio feeds the ducks with bread everyday. At the same time Chela (the family dog) swims and plays with her ball. She is very friendly and enthusiastic and is very gentle and loving with Marcus Emilio.
Our home has 4 bedrooms with 5 1/2 bathrooms. There is a kitchen, living room, dining room, basement, large underground garage and storage area, patio and a garden. Our terrace is directly over looking the lake and has many glass walls and large windows which take full advantage of the spectacular view. There is a yard on the side and the rear.
