Darrel’s Family at Our Wedding

Darrel is the oldest of three children. Darrel has a brother who has two daughters. Darrel's sister is married and expecting her first child soon. Darrel's parents have been married to each other for 36 years. They live in a tourist town a few hours away. Darrel's father is the owner of a towing business. His mother works for a travel agency. Their home is on the lake. We visit them often and enjoy water activities, boating and barbeques in the summer months. Darrel's brother and sister and their families also live in the same town as his parents. This makes it nice when we visit that we can all get together as a big family. We also like to vacation with Darrel's parents. We currently have a Caribbean cruise planned with them and our family. Darrel's parents love being grandparents and never miss a school concert or event of our child's. Darrel's parents are very excited about our plans to adopt a child again. They are telling all their friends they may be grandparents again soon.

Jenifer’s Family at a Christmas Gathering

Jenifer is the middle child and has two brothers. Her older brother is married and has a daughter. Her younger brother is single and still searching for the "perfect one". Jenifer's parents have been married 35 years. They live a couple hours away. Jenifer's father is a retired band director. Her mother is a retired chemistry teacher. Since they have both retired, they are up to our house often visiting. They love seeing their grandchildren. In the summer, Jenifer's parents and our family take our campers and meet up at campgrounds. We love hanging out with them. Last year, Jenifer's parents, brother and his family, and our family, all went to Disney World together. Jenifer's family is thrilled about us adopting again. They can't wait to have another grandchild to spoil.

Our Home

We own a very beautiful, spacious atrium ranch home in Missouri. Before starting his own business, Darrel worked in construction. He built our home. Our home has an open floor plan with all four bedrooms located on the main level. There are three bathrooms, a huge living room and kitchen, a dining room and a big den upstairs. The lower level is completely finished and is dedicated to our children. It is full of toys and games. Our home sits on 5 acres which is partially wooded and overlooks a lake.

We live a few miles outside of town in a wonderful neighborhood, filled with lots of children. We love being in the country and so does our dog, Sally, as she is free to run around. We live in a growing rural community. There is a huge community lake, the river which runs alongside of town full of boats and jet skis during summer months, many walking trails, parks, and shopping areas. The people in our community are very down-to-earth and kind. There are a lot of families who have adopted children in our community. The school is only a mile from our home. It is an excellent school that just recently won an award for being one of the best elementary schools in the state.
