Dana comes from a warm family that for the most part, is still all located in the same city, or close enough for a short drive. Her
parents have always been available to baby sit and spend time with the kids. Thanksgiving tradition has everyone gather at our house for feast and play. Dana's family has always been very supportive of our adoption plan, because Dana and her brother were adopted and it is a familiar choice for us. They cannot wait to meet the newest member(s) of the family.
Extended Family at a Ballet Recital
Billy comes from a very large extended family, some live close by and some are spread all over the state. His parents and brother and sister are here in town, and every New Years, we drive out to his grandmother's home where all the cousins gather for a big family dinner and kids run around with noise makers. It is truly the perfect closing to our Christmas holiday season.

Our Home
We chose this neighborhood specifically for its elementary school located within the neighborhood. The school is top rated in Texas, it maintains low teacher to student ratios, it is diverse, and has fantastic parent involvement. The neighborhood itself is full of mature trees and our home is located in a child friendly cul-de-sac. The neighborhood facilities consist of an Olympic sized pool, volleyball courts, tennis courts, and a large picnic area. The neighborhood has an award winning swim team and they have a wonderful fall festival where everyone comes together, kids are in their Halloween costumes, and families get to know each other.
Weekend Bike Ride
Our home is a two story home, with a very open floor plan. Upstairs, along with the children's bedrooms, is a playroom that holds the overflow toys. Our back yard is quite large. We are backed up to a greenbelt, so we have privacy and a very large lot. Our kids enjoy a wooden play fort, swing set, and zip line and spend many afternoons out back. When they venture inside, the kitchen is open and ready for baking. The living area has very high ceilings and is our main area for family time.
