Greg’s Family

Greg is the youngest in his family. He has an older sister who is married and has one boy. Greg's family is very supportive and he is very close to his sister. They live within miles of us and are there for us whenever we need them. We celebrate holidays and special occasions with them. One holiday we truly love is ringing in the New Year at his sister's house. The children have the best time; they are so excited to make as much noise as they can as midnight nears, that is if they don't fall asleep. Greg's extended family also lives near by and shares in on the celebrations. There are also are a few extended family members who are adopted. His entire family is very excited and supportive in our plans to adopt and welcome a new baby with loving arms.

Lisa’s Family at Thanksgiving

Lisa is the middle child. Her older brother is married and has three girls and her younger brother has one girl. Lisa's family and extended family are very close. She was raised in a very loving traditional Catholic family. Although Lisa 's family lives a few hours away they stay very close with phones calls everyday and frequent visits not to mention the holidays and special occasions that bring them driving back and forth to see each other. One tradition is that we spend every Thanksgiving together with our entire family, everyone brings food it is a great celebration, and there are lots of adults, children, laughter and love.

Our Home

Our home is located in a growing community that is family- oriented. It is a beautiful two-story traditional style home with three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, formal dining room, office, family room with a wood-burning fireplace, and our basement is soon to be redesigned into a playroom. Our house is located in the center of the cul-de-sac where we back to trees and are surrounded by great neighbors. We spend a lot of time grilling on our deck, because we have a perfect view to watch the gorgeous sunsets.

We love our neighborhood, it is filled with lots of children and we are proud of the fact that it is noted for it's excellent school district. There is a large family recreation center located just minutes away. The recreation center has an amazing outdoor pool with an area specially designed for small children. There are several parks surrounding the area where we live that offer newly designed playgrounds for hours of fun. Since we are situated in a suburb of a large city we are also just minutes away from amusement parks, the zoo, theaters, and sporting events. The community we live in has parades and several family festivals throughout the year. It is a wonderful place to raise a family.
