Paul is the oldest of four kids; he has two brothers and one sister. His one brother is married with a son and daughter, one was adopted from Russia, his other brother is married with a son from his previous marriage and twin son and daughter and his sister is married with no children.
Paul's parents have been happily married for 43years. Paul's father is a retired carpenter; his mother is the head teller for the town bank. Paul's family believes in spending the holidays together. Easter is the big holiday with the family including aunts, uncles and cousins. Paul's mother plans a big Easter egg hunt for all the kids and for dinner everyone is responsible for bringing a dish, they end up with a large spread of food. Paul's parents and the rest of the family look forward to another child in the family.
Kristina’s Family
Kristina is the middle child of four, her oldest sister is married with a son and they live out of state. Her older brother is married with twin daughters and her younger sister is also married with a son and daughter.
Kristina's parents have been happily married for 48 years. Kristina's father and mother are both retired and they are both enjoying retirement and being able to spend quality time with there grandchildren. Kristina's family spends all the holidays together as well. They make every holiday special for the grandchildren as well as the adults. Christmas morning at Kristina's parents is usually done in two parts. They always have two trees decorated, one downstairs and one upstairs. The tree downstairs is full of gifts for all the grandchildren and upstairs for the adults. The children get there chance to open there gifts first then the adults get to be the kids at heart opening there gifts. Christmas time will always be Kristina's favorite holiday spent with both families.
Kristina's entire family are all excited about the news of adoption and looks forward to welcoming another member of the family.
Our House and Neighborhood
Our Home We Built in 2005
We currently live in a small country town on 25 acres which was previously in Paul's family. Our home we built is a story and a half, four bedroom, three bath, dining room, large kitchen and great room with a two car attached garage. In the back of the house we have rolling hills for the kids to ride the four wheeler on and enjoy the outdoors. Our property is filled with the great natures of the precious wild life making everyday a new experience.
The Day We Brought Home Our 4-Wheeler
We live in Missouri in a friendly farming community, which is beginning to develop with new homes. Our new home is located a couple of miles from our church where we attend services. We live five miles from the state park as well as the river. The closest major town is within ten miles of our new home. In this town you will find a couple elementary schools, the junior high as we as the high school, you will also find parks and grocery stores. In our neighborhood, we live off a quiet road with very little traffic which makes it safe for riding bikes or taking walks. The neighbors are all very friendly and share a wave when they pass by. We feel it's a safe place to raise children.
