With Randy’s Parents

Myra and Ronnie are Randy’s parents and we are both so lucky to have them in our lives. They are both retired and enjoy the time that they spend together working in the yard and hanging out by the pool on warmer days. One of our favorite things to do is play a good game of hearts. This is where you see the similarities between his parents and the two of us. It is often said that Lynn is a lot like Ronnie and Randy is a lot like his mom Myra. Ronnie is a very artistic person and spends a lot of time writing and performing music. Ronnie is a former U.S. Marine and dedicates much of his time to veteran organizations. Several years ago he was invited to perform two of the songs that he had written at our state's capitol. Myra is the foundation of the family. She is a down to earth person that you could sit and talk to for hours and not run out of anything to say. Her insightfulness of human nature and loving ways make you feel right at home. We love to not only spend time with his parents but also with his Grandmother who is a blessing to anyone that meets her.

Lynn's Family

Lynn is the baby of the family. She has a brother named Wes who lives in the state of Georgia and a sister Susan who lives near by. Lynn's parents, Iva and Kenneth are both retired. Recently they sold the family farm and moved into a townhome just a few minutes away. Lynn's father formerly worked for the Highway Patrol and her mother worked at the school that Lynn attended. Obviously Lynn couldn't get away with much without mom knowing all of the details. Kenneth is very artistic and loves to draw pictures and paint. Occasionally when they baby sit for family and friends, he will share his insight on drawing techniques and send home pictures that he has created for the children. Iva came from a very musical family and has taught piano to children for many years. Kenneth and Iva enjoy traveling around the state and visiting the historical sights. They have spent a lot of time traveling since they have retired and have seen most of the fifty states.

Our Home

We live in a family friendly community. Our neighborhood has lots of children and when you are outside you will see children playing catch, enjoying their swing sets and taking family walks. Our town is very family oriented and often sponsors events that are directed towards community and family. We have several parks that have large playgrounds and swimming pools with waterslides for summer fun. There is a nature center close to our home that has several walking trails that are devoted to children exploring the outdoors.

A Walk in the Park

Our home is situated on a wooded lot and has three bedrooms and three baths with an open floor plan. We have a finished family room in our basement that we hope to dedicate as a play room. The back yard is kid friendly with a gated deck and an area landscaped for playground equipment. Our neighborhood is very quiet and has very little traffic. It is also located close to an elementary school.
