We live close to both of our parents and several of our siblings and their families and we enjoy spending as much time as possible with them.
Bill was raised in a suburb outside New York City in a traditional Catholic family with his older sister Jeanne, older brother Jimmy and younger sister Aimee. He enjoyed playing sports and spending his summers at his family's beach house. He went away to college and graduate school where he received his MBA. Bill's sister Jeanne, her husband and 4 children live in the same town as we do and we spend a great deal of time at each others homes, celebrating birthdays and holidays, or just having a barbecue.
Kathleen’s Family
Kathleen was raised in a town not far from Bill's in a traditional Catholic family with her older brother Martin and younger sister Eileen. Kathleen's parents and brother Martin, wife Debbie and their two children live approximately twenty minutes away from our house. We are always spending time at each other's houses and her nephews love coming over to go fishing or for a canoe ride on our lake. Kathleen went to college where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. Kathleen currently works in a hospital as an Occupational Therapist where she specializes in working with children with various developmental and physical disabilities. Her patience and caring nature is perfect match for working with children of all ages and she finds great satisfaction and reward assisting children to learn and grow. Kathleen is looking forward to every moment of being a stay-at-home mom. Both of us have experienced first hand the benefits of having our mothers stay at home while we were young. We look forward to packing lunches, walking your baby to school and helping with homework at the end of the day.

Our Home
Our home is in a safe, quiet, and friendly town. We built our beautiful new lakefront home 2 years ago with one goal in mind- to raise our family. Our house is on a beautiful picturesque lake, with 3 bedrooms and a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room for a playground. There are good schools in our town with an elementary school just up the street, as well as parks and playgrounds close by.

We love our lake community, with kind and caring neighbors and families with children of all ages. Some of the many "summer camp" like activities include swimming in the lake at the beach club, fishing, canoeing, ice skating, hiking, and bike riding around the lake. We imagine our summer days and nights spent enjoying all our lake community has to offer, like taking swimming lessons, catching fireflies, and rocking in our hammock. Our winters will be spent making snowballs and snow angels and ice skating on our lake. We can't wait to dress your baby in a snowsuit and wrap them in a scarf and mittens and watch them as they take their first steps wearing ice skates. They can then enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate piled high with marshmallows.
