Frank with Mother, Sister and Nephew

Frank was born and raised in upstate New York and worked his way through college by mowing lawns and shoveling snow (tons of it!). After earning a bachelor's degree, he moved to Massachusetts and went to law school. Upon graduation he moved back to New York and opened his own law practice. Eventually, Frank accepted a position with a consulting firm and moved to Michigan, which is where we met. Currently, Frank works in the field of regulatory affairs for the industry, and his travels have brought us to settle in the lovely state of Maryland.

Frank's mom, dad, and sister live in upstate New York. His sister is married and has three children (two girls and a boy).

Rosa was born in a small town in northern Michigan and spent most of her childhood going to the beach with her family and swimming in Lake Michigan. She worked at a restaurant busing tables and making salads while going to high school and college. After graduating from college with a business degree, she moved to Texas and worked for the federal government. She eventually moved back to Michigan to work in the banking industry and now works in Maryland for a financial services consulting firm.

Rosa's mother still lives in Michigan. She has two sisters, who are both married. One sister lives in Chicago and has two children, both boys, while her other sister lives in Colorado.

Our Home

We both love the culture and excitement that a cosmopolitan city offers. We currently live in a beautiful Maryland suburb just north of Washington, D.C., which is far enough away from the "hustle and bustle" but close enough to enjoy all that the city offers. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe, with great neighbors, lots of young children to play with, and a world-class school district. We have a big, warm house with three huge bedrooms, and a comfortable den that will serve as a toy-filled playroom. We have a lovely green lawn and a pretty backyard with plenty of room to run and play.

Enjoying The Inner Harbor in Baltimore

We love having our families and friends over for barbecues and sightseeing around Washington, D.C. at various times throughout the year. In addition to our immediate families, Frank and I have many friends and co-workers that live close-by. In fact, one of my childhood friends, Maria, who was a maid-of-honor at our wedding, lives only 30-minutes away in Baltimore with her husband and twelve-year-old son.
