We are very close with our extended families and even though Luba’s family lives in the Ukraine, she makes a point to visit with them once a year.
Christmas with Extended Family at an Uncle’s House
John’s mother and father live in Florida, but we still spend all of the major holidays together. We love our big family dinners and wouldn’t miss them for anything. John’s aunts, uncles and cousins live nearby so our family get-togethers become quite large and we always end up having a lot of fun. John’s sister, her husband and their two children live very nearby on a horse farm and one of our favorite activities is going over there on weekends to go horseback riding and help with special projects.
We are blessed to have such a warm and loving family. Whether near or far, our family lives in our hearts.

We are fortunate to live in a beach front community in New Jersey which is considered one of the more beautiful in the region. Living right across the street from the beach has afforded us the pleasures of swimming, surfing and fishing at a moment's notice. Walking our dog on the beach in the evening is a daily routine and one we always look forward to.
Our Second Home “The Log House”
Having a family was of the utmost importance to us so we were very careful to select a town that is very safe and has one of the state's best school systems. When driving or walking through the town one can see many delighted children bicycling and playing freely. The children in our community also benefit from an extensive youth program which offers full seasonal sports, beautifully maintained soccer fields, two town pools and fully staffed lifeguard program for the beach.
In addition to our prime residence at the beach we have spent the past three years building a beautiful log country house on 50 acres in upstate, New York in the Catskill mountain range. We love to drive there on the weekends and enjoy the many pleasures the area has to offer such as hiking the numerous state trails which abut our property, fly fishing the streams, four wheeling on the quad, snowmobiling and ice skating on our own pond in the winter. The beauty of this area is unsurpassed.
We are so fortunate to have homes in two distinctly different areas that afford us the pleasures that each region has to offer. In this hectic fast paced world immersing ourselves in nature reminds us of the beauty at our fingertips.
