Janice is the youngest of four children of an Italian family that values time spent together and tradition. Her parents had been married for over 55 years when her dad passed away. She is very fortunate to live near her mom and the families of her brother, Richard, and her sister, Denise, all of whom we see on a weekly basis. All of them delight in playing with Charlie and they can't wait to have another baby to love. Though the family of Janice's brother, Greg, lives further away, we get together with them for holidays, birthdays, and other special occasions.

Darrin is the oldest in his family. His sister, Allison, and his brother, Tracey's family live nearby. Darrin's father and stepmother visit
frequently and enjoy playing games, whether it is Monopoly, Clue or a Nancy Drew computer game, with Emily and Hannah. They also live close enough to pop in frequently whenever they have some spare time to play trains or cars with Charlie. We see Darrin's mother and stepfather less often since they live in a different state but speak with them often and see them for holidays and birthdays.
Our families get along very well together and we love having both families over to jointly celebrate holidays. Christmas can be complete and utter chaos, with wrapping paper and bows flying everywhere as 25 people open their gifts, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Everyone is very supportive of our decision to adopt another baby. Your baby will know the love of an extended family and will be cherished by all.

Our Home
We live on a quiet cul-de-sac of nine houses in a suburban town with one of the best public schools systems in New Jersey. Our children each have their own bedroom and there is a bedroom waiting for the baby that we adopt. In addition, there is a playroom on our first floor and a large, finished basement full of toys and games. We also have a large, fenced backyard that Charlie and our dog, Kimba, love to run around and play in. Our yard has a large play set with swings, a fort, a slide and monkey bars as well as a hammock. We know all of our neighbors and our children can play safely in our front yards and ride their bicycles in the street.

The location of our town presents our family with the best of all worlds. We can take a short train ride away into New York City to visit zoos, museums, sporting events and plays. In addition, we live about one mile from a farm where we pick fresh blueberries, peaches and corn in the summer and pick apples and pumpkins in the fall. We also are less than two hours from the beach where we own a second home within steps of the Atlantic Ocean. We would love to be able to share all of these experiences with your baby.
