Our House and Neighborhood
Our Home

We have a four bedroom house in a leafy neighborhood of the city. The downstairs is an open floor plan, with plenty of space for children to run around and play. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen preparing meals and the open plan allows us to keep an eye on whatever the kids are up to – often something mischievous it seems.

Our street is a lot of fun, with plenty of children below the age of 10 for our children to play with. We take turns with our neighbors in organizing play dates on many of the weekends. Every summer we close off the street and help the families around us organize a street party with potluck dinner, paddling pools and fun games for the children.

There is a nature trail just across the road from our house. There are also lots of playgrounds and a children's pool close by. We are a few minutes' walk from small town-center with shops, restaurants, a library and a fire station. On the weekends, we like to walk to a local coffee shop for breakfast and then take the children to the park. We also like walking along the river that runs through the city and watching the boats. We can't wait to share all of these wonderful things with another child!

Our Extended Families
Visit from Nona

We both enjoy getting together with our wider families, and the children love being spoiled by grandparents. Christmas and summertime are wonderful opportunities to travel to England and Italy to see relatives, who also drop by our home in the United States several times a year.

Justin has three sisters and nine nieces and nephews who all live in the United Kingdom. This year we are planning a large family holiday in Europe – we will need several houses to fit the twenty-one adults and children! Our kids are looking forward to catching up with their cousins and playing.

Cousins

Aurora has one brother who visits us often. Her family lives in a beautiful city in Italy famous for its amazing food. Aurora's mum enjoys cooking for the children and cannot wait to have one more at the table. Aurora's dad seizes every opportunity he can to explore nature with his grandchildren.
