We have a lovely home in a neighborhood full of other young families and great schools. We live in a very welcoming community where the neighbors look out for each other. Our street has block parties and other social gatherings several times a year. We have a few good friends, with young children, in the neighborhood that we like to spend time with and are looking forward to making playdates for the new little one.
We have a 4 bedroom house with plenty of space for a growing family. The house has a large backyard which is used for summer cookouts with friends and family, backyard games, and a splash pool. And of course, a spot for our vegetable garden.
Our house is a short walk to a large park and very close to miles of biking trails which we like to use a lot. We are not far from a large freshwater spring where we like to swim and look forward to teaching the new little one how to swim. Our city has a vibrant downtown and we enjoy going there for festivals, concerts, and the local farmers’ market. We are very fortunate to live in such a nice city and love how family friendly it is! It is a wonderful place to raise our family.
We both come from loving and supportive families who are all excited to welcome a new child. Knowing we can always count on our families for anything is a true blessing in our lives. We are excited to start our relationship with you and to welcome another child into our family.
Tom comes from a big family and we see them often. Every Sunday after church we have dinner with Tom’s parents and grandpa likes to work with Alexander on his golf swing. They cannot wait to welcome a new grandchild into the family! Kim’s family is small in size but big in heart. Kim’s twin sister lives close by and comes to visit often. Kim’s mom and older sister’s family live in Florida. We look forward to getting out of the cold Wisconsin winter and visit them every January which always includes a family trip to the beach where we picnic, swim, and build sandcastles.
Last summer we took a trip with Kim’s family to the Smokey Mountains. We had a great time white water rafting, hiking, and climbing up Chimney Rock – a difficult climb but worth the spectacular views of the mountain tops.
