Our House and Neighborhood
Our Home

We live in a quiet neighborhood tucked away inside of a very big and diverse city. We are minutes away from world-class museums, concert halls, and sports stadiums, so we also have the opportunity to regularly enjoy a variety of events. There is a high school and an elementary school nearby, and we can hear football games right from our deck at night.

Recently, we remodeled our house to make it big enough to welcome family and friends comfortably on a regular basis. We now have 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a deck big enough for our hammock and a grill during the summer months. We have a large yard with plenty of room for our dogs to run and, someday, a swing set.

Our neighborhood is filled with children of all ages, and we live right next to a recreation center with a pool and other activities. It is the perfect community and home to raise a family in.

Our Extended Families
Ariana & Our Niece

Family has always been incredibly important to both of us. Keith has three siblings, including a brother that lives minutes away and two sisters that live near his mother in his hometown. His family vacations together nearly every year, usually on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Family Time

Ariana’s father lives in the same metro area, and part of her family lives in the northeast, and sometimes around the globe. She has one brother, a mother that lives in Miami, and a grandmother that lives in CT. Ari’s grandmother has even learned how to FaceTime, at the age of 90, in preparation for staying in close touch when we have a baby. Her father and stepmother visit often for meals, cookouts, and other events.

One of our favorite times of year is when we travel to Keith’s parents’ home to celebrate the holidays. All of his siblings gather every November to celebrate both Thanksgiving and Christmas, an event that we have dubbed “Thanksmas.” We eat the traditional Thanksgiving meal, decorate the Christmas tree, exchange gifts, and stay up late playing boardgames.

Our families celebrate New Year’s Eve together, with everyone living nearby gathering at our home for a night of shark-themed trivia, games, and prizes. We love our quirky and fun family traditions.
