Our Extended Families
With Brad's Sister, Brother-in-Law and Niece

We both come from large, close-knit, extended families. We feel it’s important to spend time with our families – we make memories with them whenever possible. Our families have many traditions and get together for holidays, birthdays, and impromptu visits. We also enjoy spur of the moment trips and more unique happenings: our annual summer pool party, St. Patrick’s Day, and 4th of July celebrations. The pool party at the end of the summer is full of fun in the sun, smiles, laughter, and plenty of food – before school resumes. We embrace Miranda’s Irish heritage at the huge St. Patrick’s Day festival filled with Irish music, a parade, and family time. This celebration is also near and dear to our hearts as we became engaged at the parade. Brad’s hometown has a large 4th of July festival with a carnival, baseball, tractor pulls, parade and fireworks to celebrate our independence.

Relay for Life with Family

We both have younger siblings. We have one niece who we tend to spoil rotten! Brad’s sister and her husband may live in another state, but we use Facetime daily so we can watch her grow and be a part of her life and she, ours. Miranda’s brother and his wife are expecting and this will be the first grandchild in Miranda’s immediate family. Our families are beyond excited and fully supportive of our adoption plan. They look forward to sharing these traditions, special moments, their love and being part of your child’s life.

Our House and Neighborhood
Home Sweet Home

We live in the suburbs outside a large city in Wisconsin. It is easy for us to go downtown and experience the unique shops, the zoo, the children’s museum, the capitol, multiple lakes, weekly farmers market, cultural events, ethnic restaurants and tons of entertainment for all ages. We are anxious to share these experiences with your child as well!

We love where we currently live! We live in a vibrant part of town in a neighborhood with a mix of apartments, townhomes, and single-family homes. We live across from a large park where there is always something happening -- whether it’s a game of pickup basketball, ultimate Frisbee, or others enjoying the walking/biking trails. There’s a very popular splash pad park close by for your child to enjoy. We currently rent a two bedroom, two-bath apartment while we search for our forever home! We are looking to finding a home in a nearby neighborhood that would provide many young families like ours for your child to grow and play with.
