Our House and Neighborhood
Our Home

We were both born and raised in Minnesota and we love living in the land of 10,000 lakes! We live in a safe, family-oriented neighborhood with parks, walking and biking trails and playgrounds nearby. A lot of young children live in our cul-de-sac and they spend lots of time playing baseball, basketball, hockey and riding bikes together. Our neighborhood participates in National Night Out each August. This year's fun included a popcorn machine, a bounce house for the kids and a visit from one of the city fire trucks.

Our four-bedroom home is warm and inviting. We spend the majority of our time where the toys are; in the playroom and sunroom. When the weather is nice we spend a lot of time playing outside and drawing with chalk on the driveway. Our home is furnished with comfy furniture and art and pottery we have collected over the years from our travels and local art fairs.

From spring to fall we participate in a Community Supported Agriculture program. We love supporting the local farmer and enjoying all the homegrown produce. We love our home and can't wait to share it with another family member.

Our Extended Families
Hannah's Family

We are both blessed with loving and supportive families and friends. Our families live nearby and we spend time together often.

Hannah's younger sister and brother-in-law are expecting their second child. We are excited for Nora to have another cousin close in age! Hannah comes from a very large extended family. Holidays and family gatherings include lots of aunts, uncles and cousins. We have enjoyed hosting Hannah's favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, at our home the past several years. It is such a fun time having family and friends together to enjoy food, laughter and fun.

Randy's Family

Randy's extended family is smaller and closely-knit. We love spending time with his aunt, uncle and cousin that live in the area. We get together with his parents and younger brother often for dinner. In the summer we spend lots of weekends together with them at the cabin boating, playing in the sandbox and riding the four wheeler. The Fourth of July is spent at the cabin enjoying the annual pancake breakfast, small town parade and fireworks.

Our family and friends have been so supportive and enthusiastic to hear we are growing our family through adoption again. They cannot wait to be a part of the child's life and will love the new bundle of joy unconditionally.
