Our House and Neighborhood
Our Home

We live in beautiful, sunny southern California. We are so lucky not only to live close to family, but also to live in a beautiful city in the middle of extraordinary natural elements. We recently purchased and moved into our home and we couldn’t be happier with our home and our neighborhood. We have four bedrooms, a large sunny living room and two large decks that overlook a peaceful canyon. Our home is newly built on a street that is tucked away and very quiet. It is a very contemporary style, with the most modern amenities and high-tech features. We are enjoying making our home a cozy nest and have a room set aside for the nursery.

Our neighborhood is very close knit, with neighbors that know each other and look out for one another. Our community has many parks, schools and natural canyons filled with magnificent trees and songbirds. We are also only a 10-minute drive from the beach and spectacular bays. We enjoy taking walks on the beach, swimming and paddle boarding on weekends.

There are many young couples and families in our neighborhood and we think it is a perfect place to raise a child. We purposely bought a home that is larger than what we need so that we have room to expand our growing family. Our favorite place to be in our house is sitting on our back deck, enjoying a meal outside and taking in the trees, sunset and sounds of our canyon.

Our Extended Families
Christmas With Family

Themis has a large extended family, both here in California and in Greece (think My Big Fat Greek Wedding big!). Themis’ mom and dad live down the road from us and Themis’ brother, sister-in-law and niece live half a mile away. Themis also has many aunts, uncles and cousins that live in southern California. It is such a blessing to have so many members of our immediate family surrounding us.

Ron’s immediate and extended family is in Rhode Island and we go to Rhode Island a couple times a year to visit and spend holidays.

All Smiles With Our Goddaughter

We enjoy getting together with Themis’ immediate family for family meals at least once a week and we love playing board games when we get together. We take our niece/goddaughter to church on Sundays and love spending time with her.

Because Themis has Greek heritage, the Greek culture and traditions play an important role in our family. We also love to make and enjoy Greek food. Ron has become a great chef and enjoys making Greek dishes like spanakopita. We travel to Greece often to see family. One of our favorite memories is dancing traditional Greek line dances with all of our friends and family at our wedding.
