We recently purchased and remodeled our first home, conveniently located near our family. It is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath ranch with a huge fenced-in backyard in a suburban family oriented subdivision.
Our subdivision is known for family activities. You can tell the seasons within our neighborhood with Easter egg hunts, Trick or Treating, haunted houses, Christmas displays with many lights, and kids running free in the summer time.
Our neighborhood and community is very diverse with children of all ages and races from a variety of family structures. Our small town provides lots of family activities like water parks, hiking trails, open fields, jungle gyms, and gathering centers. We also are a riverfront community, which allows us to enjoy water activities like kayaking, fishing, boating and more.
We think this is a wonderful place to raise a family and we cannot wait to share it with a child of our own!
We both come from large extended families that live all throughout the United States including Puerto Rico. At least once a year we make it a point to travel and visit with Rosalea's very large immediate family. Rosalea's mom is looking forward to doting over her ninth grandchild!
We live closest to Jay's immediate family that all live in our subdivision. We usually gather at Jay's mom's house which is only 14 houses down the street. We find excuses to get together about once a week. Whether it be for remodeling, baking cookies, playing games, or just to be together. We are constantly involved in someone's activities like tumbling competitions and dance performances. Jay's parents await with excitement to babysit future grandchildren. Chichi, our four legged child is also excited to snuggle up to a new family member.
Everyone is so excited and supportive of our adoption plan and can't wait to love on the new bundle of joy with bunches of hugs and kisses.
