We are Chris and Carolyn, and we are an energetic, loving and fun couple from Connecticut who are ready to grow our family. We understand that you are trying to select a family for your baby to thrive in and be loved in, and we are excited that you are thinking about us to do just that.

We have been together for 16 years and married for the last twelve years. We are best friends, life partners, and very committed to our marriage. After experiencing years with infertility, we realized that our dream of starting a family could happen through adoption. We were fortunate to adopt our three children, first our daughter, who was placed with us in Fall 2005, then our son, who was placed with us in Fall 2007 and then our second daughter, who was placed with us in early 2009. We have a lot of love to share and are ready to expand our family one more time. We are excited to be parents again and to do everything and anything that goes along with that. We are looking forward to taking family vacations, making snowmen in the yard, waiting for Christmas morning, playing at the beach, staying up at night after a nightmare and providing all the love and support we can.

Carolyn is a stay at home mom after having been a middle school science teacher for almost ten years. Chris works only a few miles from home in a job that is very flexible, which allows us to maximize the time we spend together as a family. Our time together as a family is what we cherish most in life and what we most look forward to over the years to come.

We feel very fortunate in so many ways - having a big, loving family and very close friends and leading a comfortable lifestyle in a nice town, with the resources to support another child. Our family and friends are very supportive of our adoption efforts. Expanding our family one more time is a dream that we hope and pray for every day.

Although we have successfully been through other adoption processes before, we recognize that every adoption situation is different, just as every child and every individual is unique. So we look forward to this process with a bit of nervous excitement, not knowing exactly what the future may hold, but knowing that at some point soon we will learn of the plan for us.

While it will never be possible for us to walk in your shoes, we hope that you receive the support that you need as you go through this journey. You should know that we will always have a place in our hearts for you and we recognize that you will be an important part of your baby's story. We are also willing to send pictures and letters if you so desire.
