Hello and thank you for taking this time to read our profile.
We have been best friends for 7 years and married for 4-1/2. We would describe our relationship as a true
partnership, we make our decisions based on what is best for us as a family and pick our goals together and work towards them as a team. From the very beginning of our relationship we knew that adoption may be our only opportunity to grow our family. We are looking forward to sharing our lives with a child and know that we have a lot to offer. We want to provide a loving and nurturing home where a child can grow up happy and safe. A home that encourages a child to follow their dreams and accomplish whatever they put their minds to. A place that is always full of family. We have been anxiously awaiting the moment when we are blessed enough to be chosen by someone who believes that we are the best choice for their child. We hope you are that person.
Family is very important to us; it was one of the main aspects of our lives that attracted us to one another. We come from an ever growing large and lively immediate family and an even larger group of extended family and
life- long friends. To say there is a great amount of anticipation for a child, aside from our own, would be a huge understatement. There is a very excited and happy group of relatives and friends all waiting eagerly to welcome your child.
Both of us have great and stable careers. Mary's job as a project senior analyst allows her to work from home at least 3 days a week. Tony's job as a sales rep is flexible and allows for him to be home when needed. We are very committed to providing a child with a stable and supportive home environment, and will do everything within our power to ensure that your child has the best possible care. Education and the arts are also important to us. We have both grown up in musical households, and our careers and lifestyle are a result of pursing education, even after college. Learning is ongoing and can be a great deal of fun. It's our intention to share our love of learning and the arts with your child.
In our free time we walk our dog Tallulah, around to our neighborhood parks, and take the occasional doggy training class, which is an ongoing affair as Tallulah is still coming to terms with the fact that she really is a dog and not a person.
Weekends are spent going to the movies, taking a small trip, watching our nephew play soccer, going to see a show or a festival, and generally having fun, we believe that having fun and
living life is very important. We also entertain visiting family quite often, taking them to see the sites, ball games, zoo, gardens and art galleries. There are also times when staying home, taking a relaxing dip in the pool, spending some time reading and having dinner outside on the patio is just as much fun too.
We understand that this is a very difficult decision for you to make, not only the decision to go with adoption, but in having to pick a family for your child. Please know that we will share with you letters and pictures and will be very honest and open with your child about their adoption. We both have several cousins and friends that have been adopted, and they all have their own unique feelings about it. Your child will be just as unique and we will provide them with our understanding and as much information as they desire.
We wish you all the very best at this time and in the future.
