We are so grateful to have the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you. We are Alan and Margaret, and from the day we were married we dreamed of having a family. We both grew up with brothers and sisters, so we knew we wanted to have at least two children. Three years ago we adopted our beautiful son Ethan, and now we are looking forward to adopting a second child, his little brother or sister. We have so much love to give as parents, and we can't wait to celebrate many more years of great times together as a family.
Should you choose us to be the parents of your child, you can be comforted in knowing that he or she will be loved unconditionally by us and by our son Ethan, who is a bright, talkative, energetic 3-year-old full of spirit. He shows kindness toward younger children in his playgroups, and in his nursery school class, by sharing his toys and books with them, and giving hugs to his special friends.
As well as unconditional love, we will provide your child with a life full of opportunities. As we have with Ethan, we will make sure your child experiences music, the arts, sports, dance, travel, and the best education. We have established a college savings account for Ethan and we will do the same for his younger brother or sister. We know how important the love and support of friends and family are in a child's life, and we are fortunate to have both of our parents, several aunts and uncles and many cousins, close friends and playmates, all of whom would become part of your child's extended family.
As we grow our family, we look forward to sharing so many things, including the traditions we grew up with at Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and other times throughout the year. We want to pass along all the memorable experiences and important lessons we learned from our parents and grandparents, including good manners and patience, having confidence in yourself, the security of knowing that your family will always be there for you, kindness and understanding for others, and never letting go of your dreams.
Our twelve-year marriage is built upon a strong base of never-ending love, a positive outlook, faith, and a sense of humor that has helped us get through the ups and downs of life that everyone experiences from time to time. It's also helped us face the challenges of infertility, which ultimately brought us to adoption. Because Alan was adopted when he was 10, we had always talked about adoption as a way of building our family, and we can't imagine not having adopted our son Ethan who has brought such joy to our lives. Now we are so excited about adopting a second baby!

If you wish, we will also send you letters and photos of your child, so you will be able to watch as he or she grows into a happy, healthy and much loved individual.
