Dear Birth Parent(s),

We admire and honor your difficult decision to consider placing your child for adoption. Your heart, as well as our hearts, is filled with abundant love for this child. We are deeply touched that you are considering us to be the chosen ones for your child. We thank you for helping us to make a dream come true.

Our relationship is very stable and we have been married for over 11 years. We are open and honest with each other. It's great being married to your best friend. Some friends have asked what keeps us together and we think it's how we fit together like puzzle pieces. Compromise is key in our relationship. We enjoy spending time with our families and our daughter, but include time to make our relationship stronger. We are flexible and easy going. We believe in limit setting for children and taking away privileges when necessary. Our goal is to live for the present but not to forget about the future. The past is what shaped our today. We like to enjoy life and all it has to offer.

Religion is a part of our life. We were both raised Catholic and will raise our children Catholic. Your child will go to public school. We are not devout Catholics, but do follow the basic principles of our faith. We admit that we don't attend church regularly. We do celebrate the major holidays within the Catholic Church, Christmas and Easter. We believe being a good person is not just about going to church every week. It's more about how you act every day. We believe in being faithful to each other and our families. Teaching our children how to behave in a moral and ethical fashion is something we aim to do.

Ann-Marie will take some time off from work after the baby is born. She will then continue to work part time. The baby will be in daycare 3 days a week. Ann-Marie loves being a nurse and feels working part time helps to make her a better mom because of how much she loves what she does for a living. She loves working with kids and it shows. She spends quality time with Lilly on her days off. Dan's employer is reasonably flexible and has let him adjust his schedule to help with child care needs.

We enjoy traveling and can't wait to go back to Disney with a little one! Hopefully over the years we'll get to show the baby the world. We have family time where we play games with Lilly or try to show her something new such as skiing or ice skating. Ann-Marie enjoys making scrapbooks and trying out new recipes, especially with Lilly as her helper. Dan enjoys messing with cars or playing his guitars. We love to show our daughter new experiences to help make her well rounded. We enjoy involving our daughter in what we are doing and delegating age appropriate tasks for her to help. We have many family traditions, such as going on a family vacation every summer and are very excited at the thought of sharing the traditions with another child.

If you choose us to be your child's family, you will have plenty of pictures to look at. We plan on giving your child a life filled with many happy memories and a good education. We would love to send the baby off to college one day and watch him or her get married and have children. Happiness is all we want for your child. We are willing to email you or send letters with updates on the baby and send pictures for as long as you would like.
