Dear Birth Parent(s),

Our names are Joe and Jackie and we sincerely appreciate you taking the time to read our letter. We believe there is no greater gift than the gift of "life" and there is no greater "love" than that for a child. By you choosing life for your child, it not only reflects your courage, but the compassion and love that dwells within you.

We have been happily married for two and half years and are blessed to have found each other. We wanted to start our family immediately but unfortunately, after trying on our own and through infertility treatments, we were unable to conceive a child. Our home is missing one thing and that is a child that we can love and nurture. We truly feel that adoption is the path that God has chosen for us and we are excited and eager to become parents so that we can give a child all of our love and affection.

Our love for each other is unconditional. We are best friends and spending quality time together is incredibly important to us. We enjoy the outdoors and our hobbies such as golfing, skiing, bicycling or just taking long walks allow us this time together. We enjoy sports functions such as baseball and basketball but our favorite past time in the fall is football! We enjoy attending the games or just lounging on the couch to root on our favorite teams. Our desire as a family is to take yearly vacations and we cannot wait to take that ultimate "child" vacation to Disney World!

We both come from very loving, caring families and as parents we will be strong role models, be very involved and instill the family values and morals that we were brought up with. We will raise your child with unconditional love, support, guidance and encouragement as well as Jackie's full-time involvement as a stay-at-home mom. We promise a stable home, a wonderful life and the best education possible.

It is especially important to us and for your child to know about their adoption and what an extremely difficult and heart wrenching decision you had to make. We will provide you with letters and pictures, if you so desire, so that you can be at peace and reassured of your decision and know that your child is loved and has the life that you envisioned he or she would have.

We have so much to share as a couple and we look forward to sharing our journey through life with a child so as to form a family. A family is truly what is missing from our home. We would be eternally grateful if you were to choose us.

We cannot begin to imagine what you must be going through in trying to make the best decision for your child. Your strength, bravery and selflessness are admired immensely. Our dream to have a child; would be a dream come true. Our hearts ache to love a child; our arms reach out to hold a child but our prayers go out to you.
