Thank you for taking the time to read our letter. We want you to know how much we admire your strength and courage in considering adoption for your child. We have been married for seven years, and have known each other for almost twenty. We survived the loss of two beautiful daughters, one through stillbirth and one through neo-natal death. We are lucky to have a strong love between us, as well as, the love and support of many close family members. The only thing missing in our lives is children. To be able to give our love to a child would make our lives complete.
We have a strong faith which has served us well in the loss of our children. We also have a very loving, committed relationship. Without the strong bond between us we would never have made it through the trials that we have endured. We were raised valuing God and family above all; these are the things that determine our every day lives.
Our extended family is large, with dozens of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. There is always a birthday, holiday or other celebration being planned. We usually spend at least two nights per week with our families for spaghetti dinners and card games. Family holidays are always loud, festive events. Much of the time is spent making sure the various toddlers in the family stay out of trouble. We can't wait to add a beautiful new baby to our family!
Kim works for a family owned business and has a very flexible work schedule that will accommodate children very well. Her father and uncle are the owners and are anticipating the arrival of a baby by building Kim a nursery in her office! We have told almost all of our family of our decision to adopt and they can not be more happy or supportive of our choice.
Please know that we will give your child nothing but unconditional love. We will provide an emotionally, mentally and financially supportive home for him/her. We built our house in a community that has one of the best public schools in the area. We will encourage them to pursue all of his/her talents, whatever they are. We will be happy to share letters and
photos with you if you choose. No matter what, your child will be loved and surrounded by not only us, but also by grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Everyone in our family is anxiously awaiting the arrival of a baby!
