Hello and thank you for taking the time to read our profile. We are Dawn and Rob and have been married for 10 years. After many years of struggling with infertility, we turned to adoption immediately. We feel very strongly about having a family and now know that this is the way we were meant to become parents.

Although we can't begin to know the journey that has brought you to us, we do know that you are a unique and special person who has the ultimate gift to give - the gift of life. While we're sure this is a difficult and complicated time for you, we hope that as you read about us, we will make you secure in the knowledge that we too have a great gift to give - a lifetime of unlimited love, stability, and opportunity for your child.

We have a very fun and fulfilling life. We love to go on cruises; we have Disney and Universal annual passes, go boating on our 17 foot bow rider boat, go camping with friends and love to entertain friends and family. We spend a lot of time together and enjoy each other's company without friction. Our marriage works well because we are more than just husband and wife. We are best friends, who support and love each other through everything. Both of us are compassionate, supportive, generous, forgiving, kind, gentle, playful, affectionate and family-orientated, all making our marriage stronger as time goes by. The only thing missing is a child to share our lives and love with.

We have so much to offer a child - tons of love, patience, time and energy. We were both raised in loving homes with great morals and we would love the chance to share all of that and more with a child. We personally have a strong relationship built on love, friendship and trust. We are committed to making this child our number one priority in life. We look forward to all of the challenges of parenthood, from sleepless nights to first steps and more. We will attend dance competitions, little league games, soccer games, awards ceremonies, plays … anything he/she chooses to participate in. We are financially secure and can provide this child with excellent schooling and a college education. Our love for travel will allow them to see the world and experience new cultures. We will do all we can to make sure they are happy!

A child will be surrounded by a loving, caring and protective family. Both of our parents are retired and have plenty of time to spend with a grandchild. We are fortunate to have jobs that allow us to take a lot of time off to enjoy our personal life. Dawn will be able to work from home at least three days a week, while Rob will be home the other two days. We really like this schedule because it will allow both of us to equally enjoy the blessing of parenthood! We have so many family members that have already signed up as baby-sitters that we will never need outside day-care.

Above all, we will provide a home filled with unconditional love, laughter and security. Your child will know without a doubt that you loved them enough to give them life and make this incredibly difficult and courageous choice, just as they will know that we thank God every day for bringing them to us. We will celebrate a "Gotcha Day" (adoption finalization) every year in addition to his/her birthday. We have already started an adoption journal to write down our experiences and emotions during this journey for the child to read and understand how much they are loved.

We are very open to sending you pictures, letters and e-mails so you may have comfort in knowing that your child is loved, cherished and happy. If you desire, we would even setup a website to post pictures more frequently and allow both of us to post messages.
