Thank you for taking this time to get to know us and for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. We respect your courage and strength during this difficult time and keep you in our prayers. Should you choose us as the parents of your child, we will tell him his adoption story in a positive light with honesty and respect for you and the plan you made for him.

We are Dave and Jenny and our dream to have a family has led us to adoption. We adopted a beautiful baby girl, Jane, almost two years ago. She has filled our lives and hearts with joy, love, and laughter. We would love to expand our family by adopting another baby girl or boy. As parents of your child, we will provide a loving, nurturing, and supportive life.

We have been married eleven years and look forward to each day together. Spending time with each other and with our daughter takes top priority. We schedule work and activities to provide for such an environment. We lead a healthy lifestyle. We are both athletic and in our free time we participate in a variety of activities such as bicycling, hiking, and basketball. However, we love spending most of our time doing family stuff like going on family walks with the dog, making pizza with friends, or playing Hide and Seek with Jane. We also feel rewarded by tackling projects around the house like landscaping, painting, or putting on a new roof. When we travel, we like to go to parks, the beach, or visit out-of-state friends and family. We have a secure relationship built on honesty and respect. All major decisions are discussed and made with each others input. We are best friends and love each other and want to share our love with another child.

We will provide a safe and stable environment for your child. We live in the suburbs and share our home with an eight year old Retriever. She is gentle and energetic and enjoys fetch and swimming. She doesn't mind the tugging of ears or pulling of tails by Jane (especially since Jane "shares" so much of her food with the dog.) We reside in the same area we were raised and when we're out usually manage to bump into someone we know. The public schools in the area are all ranked high within the state and offer a solid education. We both graduated from college and maintain stable careers in healthcare and education. Jenny is working 2 days a week on a schedule that limits the time needed for a babysitter (though, Jane's grandparents watch her and both love every minute of it) We have friends with young children that live near to us and whom we socialize with on a regular basis. We also practice the Catholic faith, celebrate Mass weekly, and are godparents to four children.

Our family is supportive and excited for our plans to adopt again. Your child will receive the same outpouring of love and support that Jane received. Our extended family is large with most of the family living close to us. We get together often to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and special occasions, all of which usually involve a game of cards. We even vacation together. With Dave's family we go to the ocean every other year where water balloon and Super Soaker battles have become a vacation tradition. With Jenny's family we go to a lake and stay in cabins. Our family will share in the development of your child. Our sister-in-law, who was adopted, will continue to serve as a valuable resource as we raise adopted children. Your child will have both sets of grandparents to be spoiled by, many cousins to play with, and numerous aunts and uncles to support him as well as a big sister to show him the ropes.

We will instill values and encourage individuality. We hope to emulate the example of our parents with your child; to be supportive; to be patient; to give; to teach; and to laugh. Above all, we will love your child unconditionally.
