Dear Birth Parent(s),

Thank you for taking the time to view our profile during a very trying time in your life. We know that the decision you are about to make is difficult and can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. We understand that the decision you are making will be in the child's best interest. With that in mind we want you to know that we feel honored that we may be involved in your choice.

We are Jack and Michelle and have looked forward to the moment that we could have a little girl of our own. We have prepared for this in the seven years we have been together. We have two boys who are very much looking forward to our new addition. Her room is set up and we are anxiously waiting to welcome her with much love and care into our home. The joy a little girl will bring to our family will be the final piece to our family puzzle, making us complete.

We understand what being a parent is and what it can be. Nothing is more fulfilling than watching a child grow and develop. We believe in a structured environment catering to the child's needs, while helping the child facilitate their own dreams and pursuits. We have one son who is a gifted musician and another who, even at his young age is a athletic dynamo. Nothing is more important to us than our children. They are our number one priority. What we do from our jobs to our social events are planned around them and always will be. We cherish every moment we spend with them.

We chose our home in a quiet community with many conveniences located near by. It also is near the beach, which is one of our favorite activities that we get the pleasure of going to most anytime during the year. That is one of the many charms being in Florida has to offer. We also enjoy many parks in our area and spending time with our many animals. The schools in our community are rated "A" schools and this was very important. We believe in a solid education and try and instill this in our children.

One of the best things in our family is our extended family and friends. Both of us come from very diverse families. We have African-American members in both of our immediate families. Our families as a whole are a great source for helping with anything we could possibly ever need and are very supportive in our adoption process. As we spend a great deal of time with them, they understand how important our desire to adopt is and believe we will be a great fit for any child. Not a day goes by where we aren't asked about how the process is going and what they can do to help us.

Hopefully this letter characterizes our family appropriately. We know that your decision is difficult enough, but we want you to know that we will always from the first day love and respect your child as she grows with us. We know that words aren't always enough, but understand that your courage is an inspiration to us all. If you decide to choose us to be parents for your child, we will share pictures and letters with you so you can see your child grow up and know that she is happy and healthy.
