Dear Birth Parent(s),

Thank you for taking the time to read this. We hope it helps you to learn a little about us. We want to start by saying that we think what you are doing is very courageous, selfless and admirable. We can only imagine how difficult this decision must be for you. This only shows how loving and compassionate you are.

We are Chris and Christine. Everyone usually laughs at how cutesy that sounds. Friends call us Chris 2 or C & C Music Factory. We have been married for six years. From our first meeting we were completely comfortable with one another and now we are the best of friends. Our journey through infertility has only made our bond that much stronger. We have tried for a few years to have a child of our own with many disappointments. There is nothing we want more than to share our love with a child and we have come to accept that it is God's plan for us to fulfill this desire through adoption.

Chris is the head cashier for a corporate catering company as well as a customer service clerk at the A&P Food Store. Christine is a preschool teacher and a tutor at Sylvan Learning Center. Once we become parents we plan to eliminate our part-time jobs. Christine's mom will baby-sit while we are working, until the child is old enough to attend Christine's school.

We love spending time together traveling, shopping or just relaxing at home with our guinea pigs, Bert & Ernie. We are both very close to our extended families and spend a lot of time with them. Both families get along great, which is nice for us because we get to spend time with both families at the same time. Our families are very supportive of our adoption plans and we all can hardly wait for a new addition to our happy family. Religion also plays an important role in our family life. We attend weekly church services and want so much to share God's love with a child.

Chris is an adopted child himself, so this journey means so much to him. We feel we are giving back for the incredible gift Chris was given. There is no greater or more special gift to give a child than a loving, stable home and that is exactly what you will be giving your child. If you select us for this honor, your child will always know how grateful we are to you and how much we admire your decision. We will gladly share pictures and letters with you as your child grows up.
