Bridges in life are so often built to connect over a gap to continue forward to a destination. We have been on a
lifetime destination of a loving relationship but we have encountered a gap for which we need a bridge. The gap is the inability to have a child, which we so desperately wish to love and love and love. The bridge to our dream, we hope, is you.
We have prayed over and over for a child to fill our lives and our home with joy and happiness. We now realize that such a precious gift will be by a divine direction between us and, hopefully you as you weigh this profoundly emotional decision which will understandably be one of the most difficult decisions, if not the most difficult
decision, you will ever make. You are choosing to put yourself aside for the love of your child and we respect and admire your courage and compassion in making such a selfless, loving decision.
We would be traditional parents in the sense that we would guide a young life through belief in and practice of the Ten Commandments and The Golden Rule. What better ways to share love in abundance than showing a child how special they are and how grateful we are that they are an unconditional part of our family. They will never doubt our love for them as we will support, guide and encourage them as they blend into life and become a well rounded adult.
Due to his law enforcement background and his character, Greg's moral values and beliefs are especially strong. He is confident and as one might expect, strong-willed. Despite the rigid training and the serious nature of his job, Greg has always been a laid back, easygoing person. He does not sweat the small stuff, but at the same time knows what needs to be done and when. My wonderful husband is a very caring and kindhearted man who is always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. He is very compassionate and will not hesitate to let others know how he feels about them whether it be kind words or just a hug. Greg, with his outgoing personality, is a perfect compliment to René’s calm and shy personality.
Being raised an only child, René is quiet and still maintains some of her shy demeanor. While growing up she was painfully shy; however, with age and maturity she has overcome her shyness and has become quite the outgoing spirit. I see my loving wife as a kind, caring, patient person who is always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. René is a very intelligent individual who loves spending time reading and she loves being outdoors gardening and exercising. Like me, she also enjoys all types of sports. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, and their children as well, and is quick to treat them as family.
God has chosen the child we are to love through adoption. "Why" remains to be seen. Through our faith we believe you are part of the answer. We feel there is no greater love than choosing to place your child with a loving, caring family; a family waiting with open arms to shower him or her with a lifetime of unconditional and undying love and devotion. We want nothing more than to be that family. Should you choose us as parents, you can be forever confident in your decision. We would, so very simply, be grateful beyond expression.
Your child will one day know how much you care for him or her and how much love went into your decision. In doing so we would share their experiences with you, if requested, making you comfortable and secure with your loving decision. Help us all build a bridge…for this young life. We have tried to paint a brief picture of ourselves and our life together. Thank you for allowing us to share this with you.
