Dear Birth Parent(s),

We want to thank you for taking the time to look at our profile. Although we have not met, we are sure this is the most difficult decision you have ever had to consider making and we recognize your strength and courage in making such an unselfish decision for your child. We promise you that your child's life will be filled with love, laughter and opportunity.

Let us tell you a little bit about ourselves. We have been together for 5 ½ fantastic years, and married 2 ½ of those years. We met at a local restaurant in May of 2001, talked about each of our adventures, and decided to explore each other's activities. We have so much fun together in whatever we are doing. We got married in October of 2004 and started building our new home in July of 2005. We have a great marriage because we are deeply in love; we have great respect for each other, communicate well, and are each other's best friend. We knew going into this marriage that we were unable to conceive biological children and already knew that we wanted to adopt. We are so excited about adopting children and having a family.

Family is very important to both of us and we both feel very fortunate to have been raised in homes with praise, patience, strong values, and support in pursuing our dreams. Your child will be raised with the same values. We believe by making a child feel safe, secure, and loved; there is a much better chance of him or her leading a very successful life, having great self-esteem and an optimistic outlook on life.

We are looking forward to having children in our home. We designed and built it for children. Our home is a ranch style home with 3 bedrooms, a study for homework, a large family room and a basement for playtime. Our back yard is large and adjoins the golf course. We both work full time. Jeff is the maintenance manager at a manufacturing plant that is 5 minutes from our home. Jeanne is a flight paramedic with a great schedule of working every 5th day. Our careers offer flexibility so we can always be available for children's needs and quality time. Our entire family is very excited for us and 100% supportive of our decision to adopt, and they cannot wait to have another child in the family to watch after, love, and spoil, like most grandparents do!

We have a 2 ½ year old beagle named Ruckus, and we have a blast with him. He loves children and other animals. He always looks forward to having play time with the local children. He loves going on family drives in our Mustang Convertible. On Halloween he gets dressed up for all the local children and sometimes they take him trick or treating with them. He also goes with us on most of our family outings and loves visiting Jeff's grandmother.

Christmas is our favorite holiday. We get together with our families for lots of laughs, stories and good food. We very much look forward to your child being a part of all the love and laughter that our families have to offer.

We would be honored to share your child's future by providing you with letters and photos if you desire. We plan to always be open and honest about how we were blessed and became a family through your loving decision from the beginning. We so look forward to being parents and sharing our love with your child. We truly admire the love you have shown by considering such a courageous and inspiring decision.
