Dear Birth Parent(s),

It has taken us a long time to think of what we want to tell you. We don't know what you are going through or how you are feeling as you read this. One thing we do know is that we want to have a baby. Neither of us ever imagined life without children. Because of you or women like yourself, you give us hope.

We would like to thank you for even taking the time to consider us to raise your child. We want you to know that your child will always know of your love and sacrifice.

Since the time we have met all we have talked about is having a big family with lots of kids. We have been trying to have a baby for more than four years now. We spent two years going through infertility treatments. Since then, we feel adopting is what we are supposed to do. We feel this is God's plan for us and are very excited to do it. If you give us a chance to raise your baby we promise to give so much love to your child. We want to give your child a loving and safe home.

Although we have been married for almost five years, we have been together for eight years. We met each other when we worked in the mall at a store called the "Hat Club". We instantly "hit" it off! After a few short months of getting to know each other we started dating. As time went by we realized that we were perfect for each other and got married three years later in California. It's funny as we talk now, we find that as we were growing up, we did and liked many of the same things!

We want you to know that we will be very open and honest about the adoption and portray you in the best light. We will tell your child that what you did was not an easy thing to do, but you did what was best for your child. We will explain to your child how the adoption process works. We want to have an open relationship with your child.

Lisa loves to take pictures. We promise to take lots of pictures of your child and send them to you if you wish. We will also write many letters to you letting you know how well your child is doing.

We want to take your child to many different sporting events, take him or her fishing, shopping, and to the movies. We want to take him or her to get their picture taken with Santa Claus and the Easter bunny. We want to teach him or her to ride a bike, tie their shoes, and teach him or her their ABC's.

We are both very close to our parents, siblings and cousins. Your child would be raised around a lot of extended family that lives very close by. Your child would also be surrounded by a lot of friends and neighbors. We live in a very diverse neighborhood where your child would feel comfortable and make many new friends.

If you choose us we promise that we will protect, love, and raise your child the way you would want him or her to be. We want you to know that your child will have a safe, fun, and protected living environment. We want more than anything to be parents. We are fun, loving, energetic people who want children to share that with.
