Dear Birth Parent(s),

Adoptive Family Alex & Claudia

We, Claudia and Alexander, thank you so much for taking time to read this letter and getting to know us a little better. As you are considering adoption for your child, it must have been a very hard path for you to get to this point. We cannot imagine the feelings associated with this decision, but we do understand that this must be very difficult and very emotional. You are awarded with our highest respect.

We now have been married for 7 years and have grown together as a couple, while strengthening our relationship. After all, not even a piece of paper fits between us, that's how close we are together and how deep our love is. It is important for us to spend a lot of our leisure time together watching movies or relaxing in front of our fireplace. On the other hand it is fundamental for our relationship, that each of us keeps our unique traits. Our marriage is based on the trust of God. We both grew up with God and this formed our values in life. Among those are respect, appreciation, love, awareness in times of need, independent of culture and ethnic background.

We like traveling a lot and our favorite vacations spots are the beaches. Watching the sunset at the beach and listening to the breaking of the waves is one of the most fascinating ways to get away from it all. As those vacations bring us all over the world, we get to know many different cultures and heritages. Those help us to extend our view and learn new things on many daily occasions.

We both are currently working, but as soon as we start becoming a family, Claudia will stay at home. We both think that your child needs all of our attention while growing up. This will enable us to be there when the child is laughing, crying, gets their first tooth, takes their first steps and attends their first day of school. These are wonderful moments and we would like to share those with you in letters and pictures as long as you like. Your child will know from the beginning that he/she is a wonderful gift from you for us.

We want to give your child a heartwarming and loving environment. Your child will know that he/she is loved unconditionally and will grow up full of joy. We will teach your child right from wrong, how to make good decisions and live life to its fullest. Our wish is that your child will play and become friends with other children in the neighborhood, with Alexander's two nieces and the children of our friends, who are also adopted. We hope to share our family traditions with your child such as baking Christmas cookies or the Easter egg hunt as well as enjoying a ride on a carousel at the Oktoberfest. We will make sure that your child gets the best education available at college or a university. We want to make sure that your child's dreams come true whether they be occupational or individual goals. It is wonderful to know that our lovely families are supportive of us at all times and willing to help anytime.

We would like to thank you again for reading our letter. We hope that you are able to make a decision for you and your baby that will give you the opportunity to find peace in this challenging time. We wish you all the best.

With all our hearts,

Alex & Claudia
