Dear Birth Parent(s),

Our names are Dan, Stephanie, and Emily. We appreciate that you have taken the time to learn about us as a couple, our family, and the life that we can provide for a child. Thank you for considering us for the awesome responsibility of raising your child. We can only image how difficult this decision must be for you. We respect the selfless decision you are making, and are very grateful for the wonderful gift you are giving. It is hard to convey on paper the excitement we feel and admiration we have for you, and are very anxious and honored to meet with you.

We have been truly blessed in many ways. We have a beautiful 14 year old daughter, great careers, a beautiful home, many friends and a loving family. We find ourselves with lots of love to share and are excited about bringing a child into our loving family through adoption.

We are best friends and soul mates and our daughter Emily is the love of our life, but cannot wait to have another child share in our family bond. Our favorite thing to do together is spend time together as a family and laugh……….. usually at Dan's silly dances or songs he makes up. We try not to take life too seriously and always try to find fun in everything we do.

We are fortunate to have good stable careers that we both enjoy. Our careers also allow us to work on projects together. Our schedules are very flexible which allow us to always make time for our top priority - Emily and the brother or sister we plan to adopt into our family. Whether it is taking them to a dentist appointment or volunteering at school, we will always be there. As Stephanie would say "act as if it were impossible to fail."

As parents we will support your child in all of his or her dreams, goals, and respect them for the unique individual that they are. We are committed to exposing your child to a variety of experiences, from sports, music, education, to the arts. Your child will never lack love, laughter or hugs and kisses good night. We will make sure that your child gets the best education possible. We will be supportive and promise to set a good example. We will listen and see to it that each and every day is enjoyed. Our lives consist of trips to the lake house, bike rides in our neighborhood, family get-togethers, and doing cart wheels. We are adventures and love to see the world and learn about its history.

We have spent years thinking and planning the right time to welcome another child into our lives and be assured that we are more than prepared emotionally and financially. We will ensure that your child will always know how much he/she is loved by you. We would love to share photos and letters of your child with you throughout the years if you'd find that helpful.
