We are a young and loving couple who were born and raised in Croatia, a beautiful small country on the Adriatic Coast, bordering Italy and Hungary. We now live in the United States and have been here for over 18 years. This is our home now. We have been married over 11 wonderful years and each day our love for each other grows even more. We have a huge amount of respect for each other. Tanya says: Sonny is the love of my life. He is handsome and charming, a wonderful husband and my best friend. Sonny says: Tanya is very beautiful, intelligent and loving person. I am the luckiest person alive to have somebody like Tanya by my side. She is the one sending Christmas and birthday cards, buying gifts and taking care of family and friends. She is the love of my life and I can't imagine my life without her.
After a few years into our marriage we realized that we would have a problem conceiving a child. We were both deeply saddened. After months of thinking how to continue our lives, we realized that adopting a child would make us the happiest couple in the world and make all our dreams come true. We have resolved our feelings about infertility and are happy to become parents through adoption.
We are absolutely sure we will love him/her as we would our own biological child. We are sure this child will have the best and the most loving home he/she can imagine. We are financially secure, which will allow Tanya to be a stay-at-home mom. We love each other enormously and cannot wait until the moment our dreams come true. We have a large and very close-knit family. Sonny's brother with his family lives close by, so we get together often. Our families will be extremely excited to have a new baby in the family to love and play with.
We cannot wait to dress this child for Halloween, make ornaments for Christmas tree, watch fireworks for the 4th Of July and go to the baseball games together. We want you to know that we will be very open and honest with your child about the adoption and will always portray you in the best light. We will do everything in our power to show your child that you wanted only the best for him/her. We will definitely send you pictures and letters, if you desire, so you can constantly be reassured of your decision and you can see how happy and joyful your child is.
