We would like to thank you for reading our letter. We can only imagine what a difficult decision you are facing and we admire your selflessness and bravery. We believe that your decision reflects your love and compassion for your child.

Our names are Mike and Carrie. We have been married for nine wonderful years. We feel lucky to have found each other and we are best friends. We have known each other since high school, but did not start dating until college. We were married two years later and we know that the key to our marriage is honest communication and we are committed to each other always and forever, as we like to say.

We have always wanted to have children and we feel like parents to many of our friends' children. We have tried to have biological children of our own, but we have realized that more than anything we just want to be parents. The Lord put the word adoption in our hearts and we have been thinking and praying about you and the little baby that you love so much to be considering adoption. We have lots of love in our hearts and we are willing to give that to your child.

We believe in the power of family and the wonderful support system that loving parents can provide. We want to be that for your child. We will provide a loving, nurturing, and stable family with grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins who will also be there to love and support. We have been blessed to have this support system in our lives and we want to be able to share this with a child.

We have journeyed a long road to this point and are very excited to soon be parents. We are looking forward to helping with homework, running car pools to lessons or sports practices, and helping your child mature into a person that can accomplish all their goals and dreams. We will give them opportunities to try and learn new things so they can discover their passion in life.

We want you to know we will always be open and honest to your child about his/her adoption and will always portray you in the best light. We will do everything in our power to show your child that you only wanted the best for him/her. We will also send you pictures and letters if you desire, so you can be reassured of your decision.

We want more than anything in the world to be parents. We have so much love to give and we will be forever grateful to you if you choose us. You would be answering our prayers.
