Dear Birth Parent(s),

Thank you so much for inviting us into your life. We are very excited about adopting a child and can only imagine what a difficult decision this must be for you. We respect your ability to make such a loving and caring decision for your baby. Our names are Michael and Linda, and we'd like to tell you a little about ourselves.

We have been married for 19 years and feel that we have a strong and loving relationship that we want to share with a child. We both come from very strong family-oriented homes. Both of us have parents who are committed to each other and to their children. They always shared their love with us, and we are planning to do the same with our children. We are very close to our families and they are important to us. Everyone is excited about our decision to adopt again and is anxious to become grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

From the beginning of our relationship, we have enjoyed spending time together. At home, we like watching movies, gardening, playing with our chocolate lab Louie, and just spending time outdoors. When not at home, we like to golf, travel, attend sporting events, and spend time with our families and friends. Holidays are special because we have time to celebrate with those we love.

Our lives were blessed in April, 2003 when we adopted our son, Trenton Corbin. Trenton was four in April and can't wait to be a big brother. He's looking forward to reading to a little brother or sister, playing games, and teaching them to play all types of sports. Another child would make our family complete.

We are looking forward to being parents again. We would love to share our values and life with another child. We both thoroughly enjoy teaching and being around children. Both of us want to hand down traditions and lessons our parents have taught us. We want your child to know he or she will be loved no matter what and nothing is more important to us.
