Dear Birth Parent(s),

Thank you so much for taking time to consider us as parents for your precious child. We understand this is a difficult decision for you and we hope this profile will help you understand us better and what a wonderful life we will be able to provide your child.

We are a very caring and loving couple and we feel very strongly that we can offer a loving, secure, and supportive home for your baby. Becoming parents and creating a family is a life long dream of ours. We will devote our lives to giving your child a life filled with love, and opportunity. We long for the day that a baby is placed in our arms so we can look at each other and know that our dream of having a family is now complete.

Our relationship and love for each has been strengthened through our struggle with infertility. Our desire to become parents together has never been stronger and we look upon adoption with new commitment, new hope, and new excitement. Even though we have such a wonderful life together we both feel there is something missing. Raising a child together is one of the values that brought us together and helped us become man and wife.

We share many of the same morals to pass on to our child. We will raise the baby in a bilingual household sharing both of our backgrounds and give him/her every opportunity that we can. We will raise the child with a strong belief in God and respect for himself/herself as well as others. We both have a lot of love to give as well as a secure home and the best education we can provide. We look forward to getting the child active in different sports and creative activities like we both had when we were children.

We love to spend time together. Both of us can't wait to get home after work just to enjoy each other and Sparky. On the weekday evenings Richard goes to martial arts class and Claudia likes to walk Sparky with friends. When we are both home we will have dinner, watch TV, talk about how our days went and just enjoy our time together. Weekends are always different. We like to visit our families or have them over. We will also take day trips to the mountains beach or park. We are lucky to have friends in many different places so there is always someplace to go where we haven't been to in a while.

Since we are close to so many different cities we also like to take a 3 or 4 day weekend and visit as many as possible. We have recently been to Washington DC, Philadelphia, Cape Cod and Atlantic City. Claudia was not born and raised in this country so seeing and learning about these places is exciting and fun. Richard loves to show and teach her information about each place, much like his father did with his family. We hope to share these experiences with our own child.

We will let the child know he/she is adopted and give the child the security to feel loved and nurtured. We will be very honest with your child about the adoption. We will explain your situation and always show you in the most positive light to your child for making this very difficult decision. We will explain that you did this only for their well-being.

We admire you for choosing to consider adoption for your child. It is a very brave gesture for a woman to think of her child first and how to provide him/her with the best possible life. We believe that God will help you decide who will be the best parents for your child. We promise to keep in touch with you through pictures and letters as your child grows up if that is something you desire.
