We can only imagine the difficult decision you are facing and even though we haven\'t met yet, we are sending you our thoughts and prayers. We\'d like to tell you a little bit about us so that you can get to know us better. We are Tim and Nancy. We have known each other for nearly 15 years and are best friends. We have the same philosophy in life. Any differences we may have seem to complement each other--for example Nancy is a detail person and Tim sees the big picture.
After three years of dealing with infertility issues, we were blessed, through invitro fertilization, with our son John. He is now five years old and is the light of our world. We have always known that we wanted him to have a sibling. He talks all of the time about his future little brother or sister. We know he is going to make a wonderful big brother! We feel certain that God\'s plan for us to expand our family is through adoption. Nancy\'s two nieces were adopted, so we know first-hand the incredible love adoption has brought to our family.
We enjoy life to the fullest, believe every day is a gift and are surrounded by friends and family who are there to support us. If you choose our family, you can rest assured that your child will be loved unconditionally and be well-provided for. We believe children need nurturing and a solid foundation, but also the space to spread their wings. As parents, our priority is our children. We want them to be healthy and happy and will provide every opportunity for them to achieve their hopes and dreams.
We consider ourselves \"big kids\" and love to play with John. We go to the park and play on the jungle gym, go swimming, play ball or chase with our dog, Abby and sing songs on car rides. All of us are so excited to add a baby to these fun times. We want our kids to look back as adults on their childhood with fond memories; not only about just the fun but the gentle guidance they received from us. No matter how old they get, we will be there to support and encourage them.
We want you to know that we will always talk about adoption in an open and positive way. Because our two nieces were adopted, your child will always have a special connection with them. He or she will always have cousins who understand. We will tell him or her that adoption is based on love, and that you had the utmost love for him or her. We want your child to know that he or she is special and has love from two families. We would be happy to share letters and pictures with you as you wish.
