Dear Birth Parent(s),

Thank you for taking the time to consider us to raise your child in our loving home. We will ensure your child knows that you cared enough about them to see that they grew up in a home which would provide all of the things that you want them to have.

We have been talking about having a family together practically from our first date. We are looking forward to becoming parents again, and raising another child in our home. We will raise this child with all the love that we have, and provide for a very secure and happy childhood. We know that every baby is unique and we will support him or her so they can grow up to feel confident in who they are. We come from loving and supportive families who have always been there for us to share our joys or provide comfort when needed. We want to pass on that same unconditional love and support to this child too.

We are a family of 3 who simply love to be together, no matter what we are doing. We enjoy the evenings together telling the stories of the day, reading books, watching movies, or just playing with the cats. We get out as much as possible to take walks through the neighborhood or a drive around the area and explore.

We have done a bit of traveling, and have had many great adventures. We try to make at least one trip each year to the beach and another to travel with family. We love being with our families, and like to make our vacations include as many members as possible. Because most of us do not live close by, these vacations turn into some great mini family reunions. Whether with extended family or not, we enjoy sightseeing, visiting museums, or just lounging around, especially if that's at the beach. We travel well together, and can enjoy ourselves whoever we are with and where ever we go. We cannot wait to share these travels and to make new ventures with another child.

We know how important it is for parents to provide the best experiences to help a child have a fulfilling and successful life. We will support any interests or activities that the child may like, and ensure a complete education to help them chose a vocation in an area which becomes significant to them. You will be able to follow the growth and progress of this child through our letters and photographs, just as we are sharing our daughter's development with her birth parents.

Since Andy was adopted as an infant, having a family through adoption was a very easy decision for us. Just hearing that we were talking about adoption again brought tears of joy to Andy's mom, as she and his dad recalled their own excitement at being adoptive parents, and now at being grandparents. We will provide the strong family bond that we both grew up with, and we have arranged our professional lives so that we can spend as much time together as a family as possible. Nancy currently works part-time, and Andy works regular hours during the weekdays that allow him to be home every night.

We truly hope that you select us to be the loving couple to nurture and care for your child. We know that we will be great parents to this lucky boy or girl, in part because our family and friends have often said that, especially after seeing us with our daughter. We have so much love to share in our home, and we will continue to make it the happiest and healthiest home possible for your child.
